Immigration problems really, really suck. And just when I thought I'd moved on past my own visa dramas, the gods of international relations decide to complicate the life of someone I care about.

Seriously, this joke's getting just a bit old. I'm almost waiting for the man upstairs to pop his face out from behind a cloud, Monty Python style, and go "I gotcha good there, didn't I?" -- wishful thinking, to be sure...

Thank goodness for music like this track that helps keep my sanity in check! ;-)
